The Sacred Bean uses certified organic raw cacao of the Criollo variety which comes from the earliest known plantation of cacao grown in  Peru, South America.

​

The Criollo tree is native to Central and South America, the Caribbean islands and Sri Lanka. Only 5% of the world's production is Criollo and are considered to be the most rare and highly prized cacao beans.

Cacao & Me

After working in commercial kitchens for 7 years Michelle became increasingly more drawn towards raw vegan food understanding the importance of what our bodies really need to feel true aliveness, health and vitality. 

​

Michelle qualified as a chef in 2011, then travelled to complete a raw food course in 2013 on the beautiful island of Bali with pure raw holistic Dr Amy Rachelle. She experienced deep healing of the body-mind and a newfound awareness of how good the human body is designed to feel.

​

Raw Cacao became one of her loves and she was blessed enough to participate in a raw cacao ceremony in Costa Rica. It was a profound heart opening experience where the true magical healing properties of the unprocessed cacao bean were discovered..
